Turkey, officially the Republic of Turkey, is a transcontinental country that bridges the continents of Europe and Asia. Turkey is surrounded on three sides by the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Aegean Sea. Istanbul, the largest city in Turkey, is built on land in the Bosporus seaway.

My Trips

• 2018 June 15 to 22 (1 Week): Visited Istanbul from Doha with friends and family and spent a week there enjoying most of the attractions in and around the city.
• 2018 December 28 to 29 (2 Days): Visited Istanbul again to accompany a friend from Doha on a weekend trip for his hair fixing procedure there. Spent a day in Istanbul and another day in Kartepe region.

Online Visa Application

• People with valid US visas can get Turkish visa online. These are steps as on 2018, June.
• Go to https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/
• Click on Apply Now button
• Choose India, ordinary passport, and enter security code displayed
• Click on Save and Continue button
  • Set arrivate date in Turkey
• Visa fee will be 43 USD per person
• Click on Save and Continue button
• Accept all below pre requisites by checking them
  • My passport covers the period that I will be staying in Turkey.
  • I can prove that I hold a return ticket, hotel reservation and at least 50 $ per each day of my stay.
  • I am travelling for the purposes of tourism or business.
  • I have a valid Supporting Document (Valid visa OR valid residence permit from one of the Schengen Countries, USA, UK or Ireland). E-visas are not accepted as supporting documents.
  • I confirm that I meet each and every one of the conditions listed above.
• Click on Save and Continue button
• Personal Information. Fill all details exactly like Passport
• Click on Add a New Person button to add family members. You will have to verify and confirm entered information.
• Once all are added Click on Continue button under names list
• This will send an email
• Click on the Approve button within email to continue with payment
• Visa fee will be 43 USD per person + 3.23 USD service fee
• Fill in credit card details and click on Make Payment button
• Once done, you will see confirmation page
• Download all the visas from this page and also download the payment receipt.
• Note that you will be able to make payment only if your visa is approved and that means once you complete payment and download visas, you have the already approved valid visas.
